Languages

I can speak a little French, Japanese, Arabic, Mathematics, C and C++.

My first visit to Paris coincided with my first Japanese meal.  Standing outside the restaurant I rehearsed my lines and upon entering I performed magnificently.  The proprietor paused, and asked if I was English.  I confirmed that this was indeed the case whereupon he advised that I relax, enjoy the evening, and take the night off from my linguistic toil.  Somewhat taken aback I cautiously agreed to his suggestion and entered.  I was introduced to various people whom it transpired were regular diners at the restaurant and I experienced a very enjoyable evening with good food, good conversation, great humour and wonderful laughter.

I still have to work at my languages though my C, C++ and mathematics are very good.
